Hong Kong Police Arrest 35 in Joint Operation Against Illegal Labor and Prostitution
The New Territories South Regional Police Headquarters, along with several other police districts and the Immigration Department, conducted a joint operation codenamed 'Champion' targeting illegal labor and prostitution. A total of 35 individuals were arrested, including 17 men and 18 women aged between 26 and 73. Among them, 12 mainland women were found to be involved in prostitution and also violated their conditions of stay.
