U.S. Airstrikes in Yemen Killed 153 Civilians in 2021
A Pentagon review found that U.S. airstrikes targeting militants in Yemen last year resulted in the deaths of 153 civilians and wounded nearly 250 others. This is the first time the U.S. Defense Department has acknowledged responsibility for significant civilian casualties in this conflict.

Kennedy Center Ordered to Pay Jazz Musician $250,000 in Legal Fees
The Kennedy Center has been ordered to pay more than $250,000 in legal fees to jazz musician Chuck Redd. Redd canceled a performance at the center after its board voted to add President Donald Trump's name to the building. The center sued Redd for breach of contract but lost the case. A judge ruled that Redd was entitled to recover legal fees as the prevailing party.

Ramelow Pushes for Left-CDU Cooperation in Saxony-Anhalt
Bodo Ramelow, former Thuringian Minister President and Left party member, has advocated for cooperation between the Left and CDU parties in Saxony-Anhalt to prevent an AfD government.
