Hang Seng Index Falls Nearly 1% in Morning Trading
The Hang Seng Index fell nearly 1% in the morning, closing at 25402 points, down 248 points or 0.97%. The main board's half-day turnover was around HK$1230 billion. The technology index closed at 4524 points, down 45 points or 1%. Eight internal banks and insurers announced a capital increase of RMB3600 billion.
