    Hanoi Police Investigate Restaurant Brawl Involving 14 People

    On August 2nd, the police in Hanoi, Vietnam launched an investigation into a disturbance at a restaurant in Phu Xuan Ward, causing public disorder. The incident occurred on July 30th when a group of young people, led by 24-year-old Nguyen Hung Luu, were having a birthday party and got into a fight with another group who came to toast them. During the fight, two members of the group, 27-year-old Nguyen Thanh Hung and 26-year-old Nguyen Thi Loan, attacked the other group with knives and swords, injuring one person. The police identified 14 suspects and are continuing their investigation.

    Mobile Operators Block Unmarked Mass Calls

    Mobile operators in Russia have started blocking mass and automated calls from companies that have not concluded contracts for labeling. The blocking is in accordance with a law that came into effect on September 1, 2025, mandating legal entities to mark their calls. The cost of labeling is around 30-50 cents per call attempt, regardless of connection establishment. Experts believe this will make gray mass calling uneconomical and shift demand to white call centers, while operators gain a new income source from marking and verification services. However, there are allegations that mobile operators are illegally transferring some mass calls to voicemail, charging subscribers for them.
