All Flock Cameras Stolen in Winona, Minnesota
All eight license plate readers operated by the Winona Police Department in Minnesota were stolen between July 29 and Aug. 1. The cameras, used for tracking cars, were found discarded after their mounting poles were cut. Replacement will cost approximately $24,000. This is not an isolated incident; similar thefts have occurred in other Minnesota cities. The motive behind the thefts is unknown, but police suspect philosophical opposition and an attempt to sell the components.6 sourcesSee all sources
