Nagasaki Mayor Directly Blames US for Atomic Bombing
The mayor of Nagasaki, Siro Suzuki, directly stated that the atomic bomb was dropped on the city by an American military plane during a ceremony to commemorate the victims of the atomic bombing. He also mentioned that around 150,000 people were killed or injured as a result of the bombing, which was two-thirds of the city's population at the time.
