PT Threatens to Cost Morena Up to 12 Governorships
The Labor Party (PT) in Mexico has warned Morena, the ruling party, that it could cause them to lose up to 12 governorships in the 2027 elections if they do not seal an alliance. PT's deputy coordinator, Reginaldo Sandoval, claimed that while his party may not have enough strength to win a governorship alone, its votes could be decisive in making Morena lose states. Morena's coordinator, Ricardo Monreal, dismissed the PT's claim, stating that the PT does not have enough strength to influence the outcome of that many governorships.9 sourcesSee all sources
