Nor'easter Threatens Cubs-Red Sox Series, Potential Playoff Chaos
A powerful nor'easter is expected to hit the Northeast this weekend, threatening the scheduled Cubs-Red Sox series in Boston. The storm could lead to game delays, postponements, or cancellations, potentially disrupting both teams' playoff preparations. The Red Sox, virtually locked into the second AL Wild Card spot, may not be too concerned about the regular-season games, but the Cubs, fighting for playoff seeding, could be significantly impacted. MLB may need to consider backup plans to avoid a scheduling fiasco as the season concludes.3 sourcesSee all sources
