    UEFA Punishes Guendouzi and Greenwood for Lyon Incident

    Following a disciplinary investigation, UEFA has imposed sanctions on Fenerbahçe players Matteo Guendouzi and Mason Greenwood for their involvement in incidents during the Lyon-Fenerbahçe Champions League playoff match. Guendouzi has been banned for four matches and fined €50,000, while Greenwood has received a one-match ban and a €10,000 fine. The punishments mean Guendouzi will miss the upcoming matches against Roma and Aston Villa.

    Nick Kyrgios Cleared to Return After One-Month Ban for Cocaine Use

    Nick Kyrgios, the Australian tennis player, has been cleared to return to the sport after serving a one-month ban for testing positive for cocaine. The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) determined that Kyrgios' use of the drug occurred outside of competition, reducing his suspension from the initially proposed three months. Kyrgios admitted to using cocaine before playing in the ATP 250 tournament in Mallorca in June and agreed to a treatment program, which led to the reduction of his ban.
