Saudi Arabia Expands Missile Production Facility
Researchers at the American Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI) and the Institute for the Study of War have reported on the expansion of Saudi Arabia's missile production facility in al-Dawadimi, west of Riyadh. Satellite imagery analysis shows the construction of new facilities, including solid fuel motor casting pits, blast-resistant walls, and storage facilities for fuel and missile parts. The goal is to increase production of larger, more powerful solid-fuel ballistic missiles with heavier warheads, aiming to strengthen deterrence against Iran and Yemen's Ansar Allah, reduce dependence on imports, and enhance independent military capabilities.4 sourcesSee all sources
