    Unhealthy Air Quality in Several Areas Across Malaysia

    As of 7 AM today, six areas in Johor and Sarawak have recorded unhealthy Air Pollution Index (API) levels, with Pasir Gudang (163) and Kota Tinggi (163) in Johor being the most affected. In Sarawak, IPD Serian (150) and Sri Aman (124) have also recorded unhealthy API levels. Meanwhile, 50 other stations have recorded moderate air quality readings (51-100), and seven stations have good readings (0-50). No stations have recorded very unhealthy or hazardous readings at this time. This improvement is attributed to weather factors, with several states experiencing rain according to reports from the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).
