Chile First in South America to Eliminate Dog-Transmitted Rabies
The World Health Organization (WHO) has recognized Chile as the first country in South America to eliminate dog-transmitted rabies as a public health problem. The last recorded case of dog-transmitted rabies in Chile was in 1972.
