China Raises Fuel Price Caps
China has announced an increase in domestic fuel price caps starting September 12, aiming to shield consumers from rising global oil prices. The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) raised retail gasoline and diesel price caps by 260 yuan and 250 yuan per tonne respectively, less than the full formula would have allowed. The move comes amidst elevated international crude prices due to Middle East supply risks.6 sourcesSee all sources
