Prisoner Exchange in Mali
Tuareg groups in northern Mali released 22 soldiers from the Malian Armed Forces, including military personnel who had spent more than 3 years in captivity, as part of an exchange with the authorities in Bamako. The deal includes the release by Malian authorities of at least 8 elements from the Front for the Liberation of Azawad, in the latest prisoner exchange operation in a series of such operations in recent weeks.2 sourcesSee all sources
