The male student, believed to be the boyfriend, was arrested to assist in the investigation. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder and Section 315 for causing or attempting to cause the death of a newborn baby.

    SC to Hear Plea Over Bhojshala Namaz Site

Senior advocate Huzefa Ahmadi, appearing for the petitioners, said the earlier directions of the court were not being implemented. The court had directed the state government to provide a separate open space adjacent to the disputed site for offering Friday namaz between 1 pm and 3 pm until the issue is finally decided.
