    Pizza Chain 'Pizza Fan' Accused of €25M Tax Evasion

    A large-scale police operation has resulted in the arrest of 23 members of a criminal organization linked to the popular pizza chain 'Pizza Fan', accused of evading €25 million in taxes since 2022. The group allegedly used manipulated cash registers, special software, and 'kerasma' (free gifts) to hide income and avoid VAT payments. Nine arrests were made initially, with more arrests and seizures following. The investigation is ongoing.

    Celebrities Unwittingly Promote Scam Store, 200+ Victims Lose 10M Rubles

    Larisa Dolina, Prokhor Shalyapin, Anastasia Volochkova, and other celebrities unknowingly advertised an online store offering discounted Apple, Samsung, and Dyson products. Around 200 people made full payments, expecting delivery from Dubai, but received neither goods nor refunds. The store, 'iPhoneBerry', closed down, and its managers disappeared. Total damage is estimated at 10 million rubles. Victims are preparing collective reports to the police.

    Malaysian Police Bust Two International Scam Syndicates

    Malaysian police have raided and dismantled two international scam syndicates operating in Melaka. The first syndicate, based in a hotel in Melaka Raya, was involved in an online investment scam targeting Chinese nationals. Police arrested 14 Chinese nationals and seized electronic devices and cash worth approximately RM47,500. The second syndicate, operating from a resort in Ayer Keroh, was engaged in online love scams targeting Vietnamese citizens. Police arrested 15 men, including 14 Vietnamese and 1 Chinese national, and seized electronic devices and passports worth around RM43,400. Both syndicates are being investigated under Section 420 of the Penal Code and the Immigration Act.
