Former Toronto Flight Attendant Pleads Guilty to Posing as Pilot for Free Flights
A former Toronto flight attendant has pleaded guilty to fraud after posing as a pilot to obtain hundreds of free flights on multiple U.S. airlines. The scheme spanned from January 2020 to October 2024. The 34-year-old man used a forged badge and uniform to gain access to flight decks and crew-only areas. He was extradited from Panama to face charges in Hawaii.
