    Second Woman Proposed for Supreme Court in 2026

    The Supreme Court Collegium, led by CJI Surya Kant, recommended Gujarat High Court Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal for appointment as a Supreme Court judge, marking the second time in 2026 that a woman has been proposed for the apex court bench. If appointed, she would join Justice B V Nagarathna and Justice Venkita Subramani Mohana, making it three women judges in the Supreme Court.

    PACE Questions Annulments That Left Opposition Party Out of Parliament
