    Kazakh President Tokayev Dismisses Three Top Military Officials

    President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan has dismissed three high-ranking military officials from the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces. Kanysh Abubakirov, the First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff, Almaz Jumakeyev, Deputy Minister of Defense, and Kanat Niyazbekov, Commander-in-Chief of the Naval Forces, were all relieved of their duties. The dismissals come after a series of changes in the defense ministry, including the removal of Minister Daulet Kosanov earlier this month.

    Russia's 'Center-2026' Exercise: Repelling External Threats in Central Asia

The main goal was to practice repelling external aggression, specifically on the Central Asian direction. Key events included Tu-22M3 bombers striking critical facilities and long-range bombers attacking a naval detachment in the Caspian Sea. The Russian laser complex 'Zarya' also destroyed targets at ranges up to 6 km.
