Chinese AI Predicts Depression Risk Up to Four Years in Advance
Chinese scientists have developed an artificial intelligence model that can predict the risk of developing depression up to four years in advance. The model, created by researchers at Shenzhen University, analyzes MRI data, blood tests, questionnaires, and brain responses to emotional facial expressions. It found that adolescents who have difficulty distinguishing emotions and often perceive faces as hostile are more likely to experience depression and anxiety symptoms in the future.5 sourcesSee all sources
