Latvian Bus Ban to Russia and Belarus to Cost €6 Million Annually
A planned ban on international bus transport between Latvia, Russia, and Belarus is set to cost Latvian transport companies, particularly Ecolines, around €6 million annually. The majority of these losses, approximately €4 million, would stem from the cancellation of routes between Riga and Moscow, as well as Riga and St. Petersburg. The Ministry of Transport acknowledges potential state compensation for these losses.5 sourcesSee all sources
