Fake 10 Downing Street Listing Exposes Booking.com's Security Failures
Consumer group Which? listed a fake stay at 10 Downing Street on Booking.com, with 14 people attempting to book and a payment processed. The listing was up for two months before being removed. Which? says this experiment shows 'glaring gaps' in Booking.com's security controls, exposing travelers to fraud. Booking.com responded that the listing was not visible and 'live' for the time period referenced, and that automatic fraud controls were not triggered.22 sourcesSee all sources
