Portuguese Authorities Seize 5 Tons of Cocaine
Portuguese authorities have intercepted a ship off the coast of Sines, seizing nearly five tons of cocaine. The ship, originating from Latin America, was detected around 640 nautical miles from Lisbon and was preparing to transfer the cocaine to other vessels. Three individuals were arrested, including two stowaways and a crew member suspected of involvement in the smuggling operation.
