Chinese Business Delegation to Accompany Xi on US Trip

Directors of companies such as BYD, Xiaomi, Zhongji Innolight, Bank of China, and CATL are expected to accompany Chinese President Xi Jinping on his upcoming visit to the US. The trip, still not officially confirmed, comes amidst ongoing technological rivalry between Beijing and Washington in areas like semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and data centers. The possible presence of these business representatives could emulate US President Donald Trump's visit to Beijing last May, when he arrived with top executives of companies like Tesla, Apple, Nvidia, and Boeing.
