    Eritrean Man Convicted of Raping Elderly Man in Harrow

    An Eritrean man, Desalange (also spelled Desalane), has been convicted of raping an elderly man outside St. John's Church in Harrow, Greater London. The attack lasted for 20 minutes and was captured on CCTV. Desalange initially claimed he was helping the victim but later declined to comment. He is scheduled to be sentenced in the autumn and faces up to five years in prison.

    Second World Robot Olympiad Kicks Off in Beijing

    Oak Processionary Caterpillars Found in Sweden

    Oak processionary caterpillars, known as 'hell's larvae' due to their venomous nature, have been confirmed in Skåne, southern Sweden. The species was last seen in Sweden 12 years ago and can cause serious allergic reactions. Experts from Lund University confirm the sighting but see little chance of stopping its establishment in Sweden. Danish authorities recently urged residents to report sightings of this insect.

The letter 'M' is part of a series of four pieces that will form the word 'LIMA' together by 2027. The presentation of the medal had running as its protagonist, with an urban incursion starting from the Plaza Mayor de Lima and ending at the Museo de Arte de Lima (MALI). The new medal will be given to all runners who cross the finish line of the 10K or 21K on Sunday, August 23.

    One in Ten Young Germans Neither Studies nor Works

    The proportion of young people aged 20 to 24 in Germany who are neither employed nor in education or training (NEETs) has increased from 8.8% in 2022 to 10% in 2025. This trend is higher than in countries like the Netherlands, Sweden, and the Czech Republic, but lower than the EU average of 12.9%. The highest rates are in Romania, Bulgaria, and France. In Germany, young women are more affected than men, and the situation is worse in larger cities than in rural areas. Reasons for not participating in the labor market include job search, care responsibilities, and health problems.
