Shein's Hong Kong Stock Exchange Debut
Chinese fast fashion giant Shein completed its long-awaited initial public offering (IPO) on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, raising $1.7 billion and achieving a valuation of around $26 billion. Despite setting an IPO price of HK$48.56 (approximately $6.20), Shein's shares opened flat and later fell by up to 10% due to concerns about its slowing growth, increased competition, and tariff issues in key markets like the US and Europe.
