South Korea Successfully Tests Hypersonic Missile
South Korea has successfully conducted its first test launch of an indigenous hypersonic missile, also known as a hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV). The test, overseen by President Lee Jae Myung, verified the performance of key technologies such as high-temperature heat-resistant materials, guidance and control capabilities, and low-altitude irregular flight capabilities.
