Outbreak of Nodular Dermatitis in Cattle Spreads in Moscow Region
A new outbreak of infectious nodular dermatitis in cattle has been detected in the Moscow region, marking the third such incident in recent days. A quarantine has been imposed on a farm in Shaturtorf, prohibiting animal movement and events within a three-kilometer radius, with several settlements included in a ten-kilometer danger zone. Meanwhile, authorities in the Irkutsk region have vaccinated over 61,000 animals against the disease, with protests occurring in some villages due to animal seizures and lack of test result transparency. Despite concerns, a detected case in the Moscow region is reportedly not dangerous to humans.3 sourcesSee all sources
