   Jaguar Rescued from Backyard in Birigui

   A jaguar was found in the backyard of a house in Birigui, SP, on Tuesday (1st). The resident initially mistook the feline for a dog due to its bright eyes but realized it was a jaguar when she saw its spots. The woman's son intervened to protect her and the dogs. Firefighters and environmental police took four hours to capture the animal safely. The jaguar was then taken to a university hospital for wild animals in Fernandópolis for examinations.
