
Peru Dismantles Transnational Drug Network Producing Synthetic Drugs in Lima
The National Police of Peru, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior, dismantled a transnational criminal organization involved in the production, transport, and commercialization of synthetic drugs. The operation, conducted on September 12, resulted in the discovery of underground laboratories in Santa Anita and SMP equipped with machinery capable of producing thousands of pills per hour. Authorities seized pills of various colors and designs, marijuana, laboratory materials, and ampules of fentanyl and morphine.
