    Off-Duty Police Officer Shoots Robbery Suspects in Belo Horizonte

    An off-duty police officer intervened during an attempted robbery at a dealership in Belo Horizonte's Barreiro region, shooting two suspects aged 19 and 26. The incident was captured on security camera video. The suspects managed to flee the scene despite being shot. A 44-year-old delivery woman was also injured by shrapnel. The police officer was treated and released. The suspects were later arrested with injuries. The motorcycle used in the robbery was tampered with.

    Prosecutor Demands 9.5 Years for Sergei Petrov in 'Rolf' Embezzlement Case

    The prosecutor's office has demanded that Sergei Petrov, the founder of once the largest car dealership in Russia, 'Rolf', and a former State Duma deputy, be sentenced to nine and a half years in a general-regime colony. The case involves the withdrawal of almost 4 billion rubles from the company 'Rolf' in 2014, which was obtained from commercial activities. Petrov and his alleged accomplices are being tried in absentia as they are abroad.
