Thai Police Arrest Former Flight Attendant in Human Smuggling Network
Thai police have arrested a former Chinese flight attendant, Pan Yudong, and four others for allegedly running a human smuggling network between Thailand and Malaysia. The 34-year-old woman was detained in Hat Yai while picking up two Chinese men who admitted to entering Thailand illegally. Police also intercepted a 25-year-old woman carrying a Vanuatu passport, suspected of being Chinese, who was being smuggled into Malaysia. Investigators found images of Vanuatu passports and a Mexican passport on Pan's phone, suggesting possible links to nationality-buying crimes.33 sourcesSee all sources
