22-Year-Old Pleads Guilty to $245M Cryptocurrency Theft
Malone Lam, a 22-year-old Singaporean man, pleaded guilty to leading an international conspiracy to steal over $245 million in cryptocurrencies. Lam and his accomplices targeted a victim in Washington, D.C., posing as representatives of Google and Gemini to gain access to their cryptocurrency wallets.
