    49 Individuals Charged in Online Fraud Case, 8 Locals Plead Guilty

    49 individuals, including 8 locals, were charged at the Kulim Magistrate's Court for allegedly being involved in online fraud activities. The locals pleaded guilty and were fined RM5,000 each and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment if the fine is not paid. The remaining 41 suspects pleaded not guilty and requested a trial. The court set November 24 as the next mention date for all 49 suspects. In a separate proceeding, 3 local suspects were also charged with harboring 17 undocumented immigrants.

    Israeli Civilians Suspected of Arson and Graffiti in Palestinian Villages

    Several Israeli civilians are suspected of setting fires and spray-painting graffiti in Palestinian villages in the West Bank. The incidents occurred in the Binyamin and Etzion areas, as well as near the village of Rissah. Israeli security forces, including the IDF and Judea and Samaria District police, are investigating the incidents and have begun collecting evidence and taking statements. Forces are expected to enter additional sites as part of the ongoing investigation.

    Courier Detained with 1.7kg Gold in Kamchatka Fraud Case

    A courier from the Moscow region was arrested in Kamchatka with 1.7kg of gold, worth approximately 20 million rubles (around $260,000 USD). The courier was part of a fraudulent scheme where scammers posing as law enforcement officers convinced a local businessman to transfer his funds into gold bars. Bank employees alerted authorities, leading to the courier's arrest and the seizure of the stolen gold. A criminal case is ongoing.
