    Lockheed Martin Unveils PAC-3 Edge for Hypersonic Threat Defense

    Lockheed Martin has developed the PAC-3 Edge, an upgraded version of the Patriot missile designed to intercept advanced and hypersonic missile threats. The new interceptor features a three-pulse engine, enhanced seeker head, and improved control system, expanding its range and altitude capabilities. It is intended to complement existing PAC-3 variants (MSE and ACE) and will be compatible with current launchers. The PAC-3 Edge is expected to enter flight testing in 2023 and become operational within the next decade.

    Ukrainian Drone Shoots Down Russian Mi-28 Helicopter

    Ukrainian Armed Forces' 115th Separate Mechanized Brigade reported shooting down a Russian Mi-28 helicopter using an anti-aircraft FPV drone. The drone intercepted the helicopter in mid-air while it was firing an LMUR guided missile, destroying both the equipment and the crew. This attack signals a significant tactical shift, as FPV drones are now accessing helicopters at considerable distances from the frontline and at higher altitudes.
