Two Iraqi Men Arrested in Germany on Terrorism Charges
Two Iraqi nationals, aged 29 and 46, were arrested in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, on suspicion of terrorism. They are accused of being members of a terrorist organization and participating in armed fighting with IS in Iraq from mid-2015 to late 2016. The arrests were made following a tip-off from the Federal Criminal Police Office, which also seized mobile phones and laptops.
