    The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has removed the leader of the Zakarpattia Territorial Defense Forces and Special Service (OTSC) following numerous human rights violations and corruption risks documented in his activities. The Ombudsman, Dmitry Lubinets, had publicly raised these issues and faced attempts to silence him and fabricate criminal cases against his employees. Lubinets welcomed the removal as a specific response to the problem.
