Russia to Test New 800km Ballistic Missile by Year-End
Ukraine's intelligence service reports that Russia plans to test a new ballistic missile with a range of up to 800 km by the end of the year. Simultaneously, Russia aims to increase production of ballistic missiles and modernize the 9M723 missiles used in the 'Iskander' system. The new missile, potentially designated 'Iskander-1000', could significantly expand Russia's strike zone into western Ukraine.

49 Killed in Myanmar Military Airstrike on Market
At least 49 people have been killed and dozens injured in an airstrike by Myanmar's military on a market in the rebel-controlled Rakhine state.
