Wales Women's Cycling Team Wins Gold and Bronze in Commonwealth Games
Wales women's cycling team made history at the Commonwealth Games with a gold medal in the team sprint and a bronze in the individual sprint. Emma Finucane, Rhian Edmunds, and Lowri Thomas set a new Commonwealth Games record in qualifying and went on to win gold against England in the final. Finucane also won the individual sprint, becoming the first Welsh woman to win two gold medals at the same Commonwealth Games since 1986.
