    PSD Signals Support for Motta's Re-election as Chamber President

    The PSD parliamentary bench has indicated its support for the re-election of Deputy Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB) as the president of the Chamber of Deputies. This decision was made during a meeting of the party's bench, with the participation of Motta and the party's leader, Deputy Antônio Brito (BA). Brito, who was previously a candidate for the presidency of the House, withdrew his candidacy and joined the group supporting Motta. Motta thanked the PSD's signal and expressed his intention to seek re-election.

    Sorolla Museum Reopens After Major Expansion

    The Sorolla Museum, dedicated to Valencian artist Joaquín Sorolla, reopened on October 15, 2025, after a two-year closure for rehabilitation and expansion. The project, executed by the Infrastructure and Equipment Management of Culture at a cost of 6.5 million euros, added over 2,000 square meters of new spaces, including temporary exhibition halls, an auditorium, and areas for collection management. The reopening coincides with the temporary exhibition 'Behind the Artist's House. Architectures of the Sorolla Museum (1905-2026)', which traces the museum's architectural history and helps visitors understand the expansion as part of the original house.
