FOSVOC Case Closed: Prosecutor Dismisses Investigation Against SUNCA and PCU
The Economic Crimes and Complex Crimes Prosecutor's Office dismissed the investigation into alleged misappropriation of funds from the Social Housing Fund for Construction Workers (FOSVOC) to SUNCA and the Communist Party of Uruguay (PCU), finding no evidence or indications of wrongdoing. The prosecutor's office also dismissed a complaint about volunteer hours. The decision comes after a year and a half of investigation, during which time SUNCA and PCU cooperated fully with justice, providing all required documentation.
