Alexei Gaskov, dubbed the 'actor-maniac', has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Moscow Regional Court for a series of murders and rapes committed between 2002 and 2024. Gaskov, who was studying in the Moscow region in 2002, targeted young women and girls, attacking them at night, raping them, and then killing them. In total, he killed ten people, including seven women, two 17-year-old girls, and one man. He also sexually assaulted his stepdaughter. Modern technology helped solve the old crimes after Gaskov's initial detention in 2002. He will serve his sentence in a strict-regime colony.8 sourcesSee all sources
