UK Contracts with Israeli Settlement-Tied Firms
An Al Jazeera investigation has revealed that at least 17 companies linked to illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank hold UK public-sector contracts worth over £2.1 billion ($2.85 billion). These companies, including subsidiaries, have secured contracts covering transport, road maintenance, emergency services, and driving licensing. Motorola Solutions subsidiaries account for roughly £1.7 billion of the total. Legal experts question if Britain is meeting its international obligations regarding Israel’s presence in occupied Palestinian territory.10 sourcesSee all sources
