    Dollar Surpasses 200,000 Tomans Record in Iran

    The price of the US dollar in Iran's free market reached a new record high of 200,000 tomans on Sunday, August 1st. This marked the first time the dollar crossed this threshold, following an upward trend in foreign exchange prices. The British pound also surpassed 270,000 tomans per pound, and the euro approached 234,000 tomans. The price of each new gold coin, known as the 'Emami', exceeded 218 million tomans. The rise in foreign currency prices coincided with escalating tensions between Tehran and Washington and uncertainty about negotiations.

    Montenegro's Diplomatic Network Criticized for Lack of Ambassadors and Political Appointments
