UAE Investigates Terrorism Link in FlyDubai Cockpit Attack
The UAE Attorney General and public prosecutor have announced that investigations into the incident involving Fly Dubai flight FZ1073 reveal that the co-pilot began implementing a terrorist operation. The co-pilot assaulted the pilot inside the cockpit using an emergency axe and attempted to take control of the aircraft's controls. The flight, headed from Dubai to Tel Aviv, was diverted and landed at King Fahd Airport in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
