99-Year-Old Woman Sets World Record Flying on Biplane Wing
A 99-year-old British woman, Helga Duff, has become the oldest person to fly on the wing of a biplane, setting a Guinness World Record. She spent eight minutes in the sky attached to the top wing of a biplane, an experience she described as euphoric. The idea for the flight came from a staff member at her nursing home. After landing, she was presented with a certificate by a Guinness World Records judge.15 sourcesSee all sources
