    India Celebrates 80th Independence Day

    India marked its 80th Independence Day with a grand celebration at the Red Fort in Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag and delivered his 13th consecutive Independence Day speech from the historic site. For the first time since independence, the full rendition of 'Vande Mataram' echoed from the Red Fort. The event also featured a 21-gun salute, a helicopter shower of flowers, and around 5,000 special guests in attendance. The theme of this year's celebration was 'Developed India 2047: The Role of Youth Power'.

    Two MRSM Alor Gajah Students Found Safe After Being Missing

    Two 16-year-old students from Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) Alor Gajah, Siti Nur Aaira Aidi and Nur Aisy Humaira Mohd Saad, who were reported missing since August 11, were found safe at Central Market in Kuala Lumpur last night. The students were last seen at the Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) and had been reported missing. The public's help was sought in locating them. They were found by police around 10:30 PM and handed over to their families. The cause and circumstances surrounding their disappearance are still under investigation.
