Belarus Registers First Crypto Banks
Belarus has registered its first cryptocurrency banks, allowing them to operate under a new regulatory framework. The banks, registered as High-Tech Park residents, must still obtain accreditation from the National Bank and be entered into the crypto-bank registry before commencing operations. The move follows a presidential decree adopted in January, enabling banks to open accounts in various tokens, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.9 sourcesSee all sources
