    Woman Found Dead, Man Injured in El Descanso Incident

    A woman, later identified as Adriana Gabriela Guzmán Chablay, was found dead and a man seriously injured in the El Descanso area on the border between Azuay and Cañar provinces. The couple was reportedly intercepted in Cuenca, taken to the area, and abandoned with multiple injuries. The woman's body was found near a gravel mine, and her vehicle was abandoned nearby. Authorities are investigating the incident and seeking those responsible.
