    Police Operations Target Drug Trafficking, Homicides, and Other Crimes Across Brazil

    Law enforcement agencies across Brazil conducted simultaneous operations targeting organized crime, drug trafficking, homicides, and other serious crimes. In Minas Gerais, a joint operation involving the Public Prosecutor's Office, Military Police, and Civil Police resulted in arrests and seizures related to drug trafficking and a homicide investigation. In Rio Grande do Norte, police arrested seven suspects linked to a criminal organization involved in drug trafficking, illegal firearm possession, and homicides. Meanwhile, in Rio de Janeiro, police arrested 12 criminals linked to the Terceiro Comando Puro (TCP) faction, seizing weapons and uncovering a fraud center. In Alagoas, the Civil Police arrested seven suspects involved in criminal organizations, robberies, drug trafficking, homicides, and rape of minors as part of Operation Cerco Fechado.
